Green Smoothie

Smoothies are a great way to get plenty of nutrients in our day when we are short on time. All we need is a selection of our favourite healthy ingredients and a blender. Easy, fast, super nutritious and tasty! We can enjoy them either for breakfast, as a light lunch or as a healthy snack for that extra boost between meals.

This green smoothie recipe is one of my favourite for those mornings when I want to feel super-energised. Enjoy!

Total time: 5min / Serves: 1

Ingredients

  • 1 cup spinach
  • ½ banana
  • ½ cup pineapple, chopped
  • 1 inch ginger root
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon flaxseeds
  • 1/2 cup coconut water

Directions

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Serve and drink.
